A Bosnian Man and a Serbian Woman Charged with Trafficking in Women

Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and its Special Department for Organized Crime, White Collar Crime and Corruption filed an indictment against two persons today.

Indicted are a man, a BiH national domiciled in Doboj, and his collaborator, a woman, a Serbian national from Novi Kneževac.

The accused used brute force, threats and deceit to keep women enslaved for prostitution.

Bosnian national is also accused of illicit production and trafficking in arms and explosive devices.

The indictment is presented to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
