The Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) this week assisted in a Newsday report about war crime charges against two former Bosnian Serb soldiers.
The New York City U.S. newspaper reported that Mladen Blagojević and Zdravko Božić, the first former Yugoslavs deported from America were facing charges in Bosnia stemming their involvement in the 1995 massacre at Srebenica. They had been prosecuted in the US and sent back to their home country for lying on immigration application forms.
CIN assisted by collecting photos and an account of reactions to the charges from Bratunac and Repovac where the two men lived.
