CIN documentary airs on TV

CIN staffers present findings of food safety investigation in a new broadcast.

Tonight at 8 p.m. RTRS will be airing Danger on Your Plate, an half-hour investigation of food safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The documentary was produced by the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIN) which had food samples from three cities in the country tested and found that nearly half contained high numbers of bacteria or dangerous kinds of bacteria. The CIN reporters also visited border crossing points around the country to see food inspectors at work, looked for smuggled cattle along the Drina and talked with food growers, vendors, restauranteurs and inspector throughout BiH.
