At the end of February 2025, CIN journalist Renata Radić-Dragić and cameraman Dženat Dreković were working on a story about Brčko politician and businessman Zoran Kokanović, who owns residential and commercial properties as well as betting shops. As they were filming one of the properties in Brčko’s Ilićka neighbourhood, a group of people came out of the building, including Goja Bogičević and her family members.

Politicians’ Assets: MP Zoran Kokanović Holds Degree from Defunct University
In just under 50 years of life, MP Zoran Kokanović has acquired assets worth millions, established gambling and betting companies, secured rights to exploit river materials, obtained a degree from a university that no longer exists, and received a conviction for domestic violence.

Shouting as they went, they tried to stop the crew from filming their property. Although the journalists identified themselves and explained what they were filming and why, the Bogičević family refused to listen and physically attacked them.

Police arrived at the scene, and the attackers were taken to the Brčko District Police Station. Five months later, the Brčko District Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against Goja Bogičević, charging her with inflicting minor bodily injuries and damaging the equipment of CIN’s journalist and cameraman.
