Bright future after two years of investigations for CIN

On today’s date in 2004, ten reporters gathered for the first time around a table in the new offices of the Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo.

The goal of those journalists and their editors was to launch a project that would investigate and write about topics that affect all people in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Two years later, we have nine projects, including some 85 stories, behind us. During that time, some of our original journalists have left and new ones have joined us. Local staff have begun running the center.

We have been quoted in many local and foreign media outlets. We continue to publish only facts we can verify and only information readers will find most useful. What is most important to us is that we have earned trust from our audience.

We don’t intend to rest on this past. We are ready for our next story.
