CIN Reporter Selected as Fellow

Joins nine others in US program

Reporter Ermin Zatega of the Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) has been named an International Fellow by the Minneapolis-based World Press Institute (WPI).

Between 100 and 200 candidates apply each year. WPI selects ten reporters who are then provided with the opportunity to travel across the United States and visit important news outlets, interview politicians, meet with senior reporters and even attend the Republican National Convention. Fellows will write about the US from their own perspectives.

In the 50 years since the WPI started, the organization has hosted almost 500 reporters from 94 countries, many of whom have gone on to become leading reporters and editors in their home countries.
