Security Minister Sacked

Poor performance and lack of party support seen as causes for dismissal.

The Security Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) has been fired by the state-level Parliament for poor job performance.

Tarik Sadović resisted the charge but his SDA party — The Party of Democratic Action – demanded his removal for not working well with international institutions and local police and incompetence.

Among the agencies he was responsible for is the BiH Border Police.
