Security Minister Sacked

Poor performance and lack of party support seen as causes for dismissal.

The Security Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) has been fired by the state-level Parliament for poor job performance.

Tarik Sadović resisted the charge but his SDA party — The Party of Democratic Action – demanded his removal for not working well with international institutions and local police and incompetence.

Among the agencies he was responsible for is the BiH Border Police.

An unrelated article by The Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) this week called into questions hiring practices by the border force that let it cadets known to have police files.
