Rising Number of Disciplined Judges And Prosecutors
Last year, the HJPC imposed measures on 33 judges and prosecutors, most often salary cuts. In 15 proceedings, the lawsuits were rejected or the proceedings were suspended. These are main conclusions from the Office from the Disciplinary Counsel’s Annual Report 2022.
45 Judges And Prosecutors Disciplined In Two Years
CIN updated its database of “Disciplinary punishments against judges and prosecutors” adding the disciplinary proceedings decisions that HJPC imposed on judges, prosecutors, and expert associates.
Flexible Justice for Judges and Prosecutors
In the last four years, the disciplinary commissions of the HJPC BiH acquitted 12 judges and prosecutors of the disciplinary liability, while in one case they did not even conduct the disciplinary proceedings.
