The Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) has put together a web page on public procurement along with a database of the 50 most successful firms in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The site will contain general information about ownership, business affairs, tax debts, court verdicts and possibly grants as well as the donations to political parties of the 50 companies that have an aggregated turnover of more than 2.3 billion KM through public procurement over the past five years. This is 30 percent of 7.5 billion KM of the total spent on public procurement in BiH between 2011-2015.

CIN compiled a database of public procurement contracts entered into between 2011 and 2015 using data from the Official Gazettes and for 2015 from the web page of the BiH Public Procurement Agency.

After combing the records, the journalists selected the companies that made the most money in profitable sectors such as energy, construction, fuel procurement, health care and pharmacy, IT and vehicle procurement.
