Sara Šarika Farhi’s inheritor has filed a lawsuit against the state and Sarajevo canton authorities requesting 340,000 KM in compensation for illegally losing title to a house in Alifakovac, a Sarajevo neighborhood.
From now on, lawyers are barred from carrying gifts to convicts at the Sarajevo penitentiary. The Bar Association officials announced penalties for peers who violate the law.
The Supreme Court of Republika Srpska denied Milica Marković the right of ownership over a five-room condo in Bijeljina that was paid with fuel oil from stockholding supplies outside the procedure. CIN reported the story at the end of last year.
Ramo Brkić, former police commissionaire of Una-Sana Canton, was arrested in Slovenia after being at large for three years. He fled the country after the Court of BiH sentenced him to 11 years in prison for production and trade in narcotics and the abuse of office and other corruption charges.

Prosecutors filed an indictment against the chairman of Una Sana Canton Assembly on charges of the abuse of office and forging of official document during his mayoral term in Bužim.

In 2008, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 219,900 KM for an Audi Q7 intended for then chairman Nikola Špirić. Five years later the car was sold for 34,218 KM. The following month a trial related to the car’s procurement is scheduled to open before the Basic Court in Brčko District. Defendants are charged with fraud and abuse of office.
After CIN’s investigation into legislative abuse, the FBiH Parliament’s House of Peoples introduced new rules for the use of living-away-from home and accommodation allowances in Sarajevo.
