State court judge Vlado Admović has been removed from the court for the second time. The disciplinary commission of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council found him guilty of ‘conduct in or out of court detrimental to the reputation of the function of a judge.’
The Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) reported originally on allegations that Adamović made indecent advances in August 2006 toward an eighteen year old female employee of a flower shop in Sarajevo.
Adamović was found guilty of sexual harassment but avoided prison time, instead receiving a suspended eight month sentence and one year of probation. An appeals court reversed the ruling and Adamović was reinstated in December 2007. The appeals court commonly reverses cases in BiH.
However, the disciplinary commission decided that the judge’s conduct damaged the reputation of the court and relieved him of his duties.
