The Cantonal court in Tuzla upheld Asmir Fazlić’s appeal after the Land Registry Office in Živinice had stopped the buyer from registering the property in his name. Fazlić bought the contested property from Tasim Kučević, sentenced to 12 years in prison on charges of organizing prostitution and human trafficking, at the end of March 2010.

The RS Government Lost a Chance to Recoup 128 million KM Against Bankruptcies
Republika Srpska (RS) Government has failed to recoup 128 million KM of its claims in the companies which went bankrupt between the beginning of 2008 and mid-2011.
FBiH Inspection Caught 2,033 Informal Workers Last Year
Federation Authority for Inspection Affairs has caught 2,033 informal workers who worked without labor contracts and paid health and retirement benefits. Inspectors registered 1,729 workers during increased oversight last September and October, while other informal workers were caught in the course of inspectors’ regular activities.
Pedestrian Street Instead of Veterans’ Memorial

On June 1, the municipality of Novi Travnik turned over 150 cubic meters of stone to the Bugojno firm of Stonex for construction of a veterans’ memorial. That monument was never built.
