The Brčko District Basic Court has confirmed an indictment against Ćazim Dačaj, a former MP of the Brčko District Assembly, accused of abuse of office or authority.
Elvir Saletović and Sanel Pengić arrested in a police operation “Voter” remanded in month-long custody. They were arrested after being exposed by CIN reporters for vote trading in Brčko.
The Cantonal Court in Bihać confirmed the indictment against ten people and two firms for misuse of public funds with regard to orthopedic aids, which CIN reported earlier.
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina representative Senaid Begić was sentenced to four years of prison because of illegal hiring and financial misuse at the time when he was the head of Zenica-Doboj Canton’s Health Care Fund. The Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo broke that story.

Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor’s Office is investigating grant misuse worth millions which the mayor of Velika Kladuša municipality, Fikret Abdić, funneled to an NGO and a firm run by his advisers. CIN reported on the matter two years ago. Abdić is currently in jail.
