Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor’s Office is investigating grant misuse worth millions which the mayor of Velika Kladuša municipality, Fikret Abdić, funneled to an NGO and a firm run by his advisers. CIN reported on the matter two years ago. Abdić is currently in jail.
Lawmakers in the Brčko District’s Assembly lost access to budget funds they had earlier used to buy votes by financing local associations. This money has been redirected to fight COVID-19.
